CALL FOR ARTISTS
Charlotte Art Collective Spring Sale
April 17, 2010
Charlotte, NC
The Charlotte Art Collective is seeking artists interested in participating in
the Charlotte Art Collective Spring Sale event, taking place on Saturday
April 17, 2010. There are several booth spaces available for the sale.
Professional artists in all media are encouraged to apply for the jury process. The application deadline is: February 26, 2010.
The art show site is centrally located in the Dilworth & Freedom Park neighborhoods indoors at Avondale Presbyterian Church - at the corner of Park Road and Lilac Street. The Community hall is a light filled, open meeting room with restrooms and kitchen. There is abundant, free customer parking and wheelchair access. The art sale event is promoted using a variety of media including full color postcards.
The Charlotte Art Collective has produced six consecutive, successful art shows for three years by combining their skills at event planning and promotion. Using this creative teamwork the CAC launches cost efficient, successful, high quality events. Last year the art show moved from the Freedom Park Pavilion to a larger space and a more prominent location on Park Road.
While the Charlotte Art Collective has grown, the focus remains the same: the support and friendship of fellow artists who create a way to display and sell their fine art and crafts. The group occasionally meets informally to discuss exhibition opportunities, to critique art and to build a network of artists in the region. All the artists represented are of the highest professional standard, many with gallery representation, including galleries throughout the country and in Europe.
