Provisional Membership Application



Please note that we are not accepting applications until space is available in the group.  Applications are accepted after the posting a Call for Artists (generally about 4 months prior to a show).  If you wish to be on a mailing list to be notified of CFA's, please contact us.  Unfortunately, because of the large amount of spam generated by bots surveying this site, we have to code the phone number: seven-oh-for three-three-too for-ate-ate-oh (spelling on purpose).


APPLICATION PROCESS


Note:  Please call seven-oh-for three-three-too for-ate-ate-oh to obtain the USPS and email addresses.

 

Please the following 3 items by USPS mail to:


  1. The application below completed in full.  Please print.
  2. A brief artist history (for example, education, any shows or honors, gallery exhibits, etc.)
  3. A $25 check as a nonrefundable application fee made payable to Charlotte Art Collective.

Please send the following to our email address:

          Attach 3 digital photographs of work representing a sample of what you would sell at shows.  You must follow
          these instructions.

  •  Send us one email with each photo as an individual attachment.  Do not embed images in the email body.
  •  Your images must be in the jpg format with a minimum resolution of 300 dpi.
  •  Make the subject box read CAC application from [your name]. 
  •  Please help us match this application to your check by including your information below in the email.
  •  We will confirm receipt by email.


Please read our criteria carefully:

 

  • All exhibited work must be original in design and executed by the exhibiting artist.
  • No work created from kits or castings from commercial molds are permitted.
  • No commercial dealers or agents.
  • All show participants must be ready to show at 10 am, be present for the entire show, and assist in cleanup.
  • The CAC reserves the right to remove an artist from the show who exhibits work not of the quality represented in the applicant’s images.
